The three-eyed Shiva ghat

Trilochan Ghat

Trilochan Ghat is named for Trilochaneshwar, a 'three-eyed' form of Shiva worshipped at a temple on the site, and is one of the older religiously significant ghats in the northern stretch of the riverfront.

Two turrets rising from the water in front of the ghat are a recognisable landmark here, often pointed out on boat rides through the northern ghats even by visitors who don't stop to visit the temple itself.
